As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced 3rd Year Plumbing Apprentice to join our dynamic team.
As a 3rd Year Plumbing Apprentice at Proud Plumbing, you will have the opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge in a supportive and professional environment. You will work alongside our experienced plumbers, assisting with a variety of maintenance plumbing tasks and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and faulty fixtures
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning drains, checking pipe systems, and inspecting plumbing fixtures
- Install and repair plumbing systems and components, including pipes, valves, and fittings
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure job requirements are understood and met
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and regulations
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in the 3rd year of a recognised plumbing apprenticeship program
- Previous experience in maintenance plumbing is highly desirable
- Basic understanding of plumbing systems, tools, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license
- White Card and other relevant certifications are advantageous
