Morley sits about ten kilometres north-east of the Perth CBD in the City of Bayswater and contains the Galleria, one of Perth's larger shopping centres. It began developing as a major shopping and commercial centre from the late 1950s, with residential development running alongside it. For a plumber that gives two distinct streams of work in one suburb: retail and food premises with grease traps, floor wastes and trade waste obligations, and post-war housing now at the age where original services fail.
