Plumber Marangaroo

Proud Plumbing and Gas works Marangaroo and the surrounding City of Wanneroo suburbs regularly. Marangaroo is largely late-1980s family housing built around a golf course, and both of those facts show up in the work we do here.

The housing is at the stage where the fittings installed with it are failing while the pipework is sound. The golf course runs irrigation and amenities on a scale no household does, and properties along its edge sometimes carry runoff from that ground.

If you are looking for a plumber in Marangaroo for a leak, a blocked drain or an emergency, Proud Plumbing and Gas can help. No call-out fee during regular business hours, obligation-free fixed-price quotes, and licensed plumbers and gas fitters.

Proud Plumbing Services Marangaroo & Nearby Suburbs

Marangaroo WA 6064, City of Wanneroo. About 18 km north of the Perth CBD.

Marangaroo is a suburb about eighteen kilometres north of the Perth CBD in the City of Wanneroo, bounded by Wanneroo Road, Hepburn Avenue, Mirrabooka Avenue and Marangaroo Drive. It holds Marangaroo Golf Course and two primary schools, the older opened in 1987 and the newer in 2003. For a plumber that build era puts the fittings at end of life while the pipework is still sound, and the golf course adds irrigation and amenity work alongside the domestic jobs.

  • Housing built out in the late 1980sThe suburb went up over a short period, so hot water units, isolation valves and tapware across it are failing on much the same timetable. Replacing a hot water system before it bursts costs a fraction of an emergency call-out plus the damage a failed cylinder does to flooring.
  • A golf course within the suburbThe course runs reticulation, pumps and clubhouse amenities at a scale no garden approaches, and a failed irrigation line takes a fairway out rather than just a lawn. That is commercial work scheduled around play rather than attended mid-round.
  • Properties bordering the courseBlocks along the course edge can carry runoff from that ground after heavy rain, and the mature plantings around it put roots near sewer lines. Drainage on those properties needs sizing for what actually arrives rather than only for the roof.
  • Pipework still sound at this ageAt around thirty-five years the supply pipe and sewer connections in a Marangaroo home generally have life left. Anyone quoting a full replumb here is quoting work the house does not need, and we will tell you so rather than agreeing with it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I replace the hot water system before it fails?
If it is original and around fifteen years old, generally yes. Marangaroo homes were built in the late 1980s and the units in them are on their second round now. A planned replacement costs a fraction of an emergency one plus the water damage a burst cylinder causes.
We back onto the golf course and get water across the yard. Can that be fixed?
Yes, and it is a known issue on those blocks. Properties along the course edge can take runoff from that ground after heavy rain, so drainage needs sizing for what actually arrives rather than only for the rain on your roof.
Do these houses need replumbing?
Generally not. At around thirty-five years the pipework in a Marangaroo home usually still has life in it while the fittings do not. Call (08) 6185 3008 and we will give you an honest assessment rather than quoting the whole house.
